Hey Lover is a rock duo from Portland, OR, that merges the best of old school punk with head-bobbing pop. The band is already an important part of Portland's emerging garage scene and their inclusion on the garage rock compilation '30 Seconds Over Portland' is evidence of their immediate impact. Justin (guitar, vocals) and Tara Beth (drums, vocals) were asked to open the CD Release of '30 Seconds Over Mars' and have since created an even bigger buzz with airplay on Seattle's revered radio station, KEXP. A recent national tour to the BMR Showcase at SXSW in Austin, TX, perfectly exhibited their raw and energetic live performances. Hey Lover signed jointly with BMR and Hovercraft in December 2006 and is set to release their highly anticipated 16-track debut album March 31st, 2007.
